Columbia County Charity Gala

Join us Saturday, February 27 for a very special event to benefit the Columbia County Arts Endowment and Columbia County Cares Food Pantry.
The Columbia County Charity Gala is an avenue to provide for needs in our community, through a night of Vegas style games, dancing and dinner.
It's a guarantee that "What happens in Columbia County stays in Columbia County."
The fun begins at 7:00 pm at Savannah Rapids Pavillion.
Tickets are $75.00 per person and include:
- Vegas buffet by Chef Jeff, celebrating 30 years of culinary excellence

Columbia County Cares is a non-profit organization that provides food relief to the less fortunate citizens of Columbia County. Each month an average 460 families are served & that number continues to grow. Columbia County Cares is a USDA facility and an agency of the Golden Harvest Food Bank, where most food is secured.
The Columbia County Arts Endowment helps foster arts organizations & promote the use of Columbia County's Performing Arts Center and facilities. It's primary function is to subsidize facility fees of public cultural & art performances and exhibits of Columbia County organizations.

Art in the Park
Columbia County Arts will sponsor Art in the Park from 10 AM - 5 PM Saturday, April 17, at the Memorial Garden and Amphitheater.
Artists will showcase their talents at Art in the Park 2010, a festival highlighting the visual and performing arts in Columbia County.
This year’s event will include performances by several local arts groups, performers, story tellers, a variety of arts vendors, our second annual sidewalk chalk contest and lots of activities for the kids.
There will also be demonstrations by local artists throughout the day. The event is FREE and open to the public. For more information email info@columbiacountyarts.org.
Annual Arts Awards
Columbia County Arts has recognized an outstanding artist and an outstanding arts supporter/volunteer in Columbia County each year since 2005.
The award for Individual Artist recognizes outstanding achievement in any arts discipline (visual/performing/creative) by a living Columbia County artist who has dedicated him/herself to excellence, growth, support and/or availability of the arts in Columbia County.

2006 Lynelle Widener, painter
2005 Ron Jones, dancer and co-founder of
the Columbia County Ballet
The award for Arts Supporter/Volunteer recognizes an outstanding influencer, motivator, organizer, or originator of an arts organization, program, or project in Columbia County. A candidate must be a member and supporter/volunteer of Columbia County Arts, Inc., or one of its member arts organizations.
